This is a photo taken at sunset on the beach at Barnes Park campground, along the Grand Traverse Bay, Lake Michigan. I love how the sun has made such beautiful shades of orange, pink and purple on the water. If you look closely you can see the splash of the wave as it hits the rock.

This is one of my favorite photos taken this past summer. I took it while sitting on the dock at Aunt May and Uncle Barney's watching the sunrise.

Here are a few snapshots of our family over the past year. Dave and I in the upper left followed by the first snowfall of 07, Erik kayaking at Aunt May and Uncle Barney's, Christopher playing with Magnus last June when he was helping to put in the hardwood floor, below that is Magnus in the hat Aunt Connie made him (taken last Christmas), Erik with his broken arm, and Magnus catching a bubble that Aunt Michelle is blowing for his first birthday. This is the first snowfall of the season. It was just in time for Christmas, but didn't stand a chance of staying that long with the rain that followed. We had just a light dusting for the sleigh to land on.
